Preference will be given to paired applications (one senior leader- level person and one program manager- level person from the same country). The senior leader (ministers, permanent secretaries, national program managers, divisional heads, chief fisheries officers) will participate in the Leadership Development sub- program, while the program manager (MPA site managers, senior field officers, group leaders) will complete the Excellence in Reef Management sub- program. Each sub- program runs for two weeks, with a one- week overlap in which Senior Leaders and Program Managers will interact to share experiences and develop joint action plans for implementation upon return to their home country. We expect to be able to provide follow- up funding to support implementation of joint action plans back in the home- country of participants after the program is completed. Dates and inclusions.
